BOARDMAN -- Samuel E. Rossi, 157 Cochran Drive, Monaca, Pa., and his bride, the former Judith A. Shirilla, 7493 Jaguar Drive, left on a Caribbean cruise following their wedding on April 14 at St. Luke Church.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during an 11 a.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. Joseph Fata.
They were honored afterward during a reception held at Antone's Banquet Center.
The bride is a daughter of Genevieve Orlando, 26 Midwood Circle, and the late Samuel Orlando. Parents of the groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Phil Rossi, who had lived in Aliquippa, Pa.
The bride's ivory satin A-line gown featured a chapel train. It was adorned with beading and worn with a metallic champagne lace jacket.
Serving as honor attendant was the bride's daughter, Lindsey Shirilla of Boardman, who wore an aqua gown and shawl.
Nicholas Shirilla of Boardman, the bride's son, performed the duties of best man.
Mrs. Rossi graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She recently graduated as a licensed cosmetologist from Raphael's School of Beauty and is employed at Maxim Healthcare in Youngstown and as a hairstylist with Simply Ed's Styling Salon.
Mr. Rossi attended Pennsylvania State University and is a catering supervisor with U.S. Airways in Pittsburgh.
