June wedding for Toni Shields and Rob Acevedo

BOARDMAN -- Announced by Paula M. Shields, 183 Rockdale Ave., are plans for the upcoming marriage of her daughter, Toni Marie Shields, 73 Centervale Ave., and Rob Acevedo of the same address, formerly of West Palm Beach, Fla., a son of Carlos Acevedo of Marimar, Fla., and the late Concepcion Acevedo.
The couple have chosen June 30 for their open wedding at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Church. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at Mr. Anthony's.
Miss Shields, also a daughter of the late Harry Shields III, is a fourth-grade teacher at West Boulevard Elementary School. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education and from Marygrove College in Detroit with a master's degree in teaching.
Mr. Acevedo attended Miami Dade College in Florida and is a sales representative with P3 Racing Inc. in Miami and also a real estate investor.
