Anniversary celebration planned to honor Mr. and Mrs. Tiberio
POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas R. Tiberio, 2228 Clyde St., will be honored by family and friends as they celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary May 20 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The couple have lived in Poland since their marriage on May 18, 1957, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown. They are members of Holy Family Church.
Their family includes Christino J. Tiberio of Boardman, Nicholas J. Tiberio of Youngstown and Wendy M. Tiberio, also of Youngstown; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A son, John P. Tiberio, and a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Tiberio, are deceased.
Mr. Tiberio served with the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 in Germany. He was employed with Erie Lackawanna Railroad and later with Conrail Railroad before retiring in 1993 after 42 years of service.
Mrs. Tiberio retired in 1993 after 18 years of employment with Strouss and then with Kaufmann's at the Southern Park Mall.
