Cynthia Davies, Samuel Wolford are engaged

Announcement is being made of the engagement of Cynthia Davies, a daughter of James and Patricia Burgess of Warren, and Samuel Wolford, a son of Albert and Alice Wolford of West Virginia and Walter Galonski of Cortland and the late Pamela Galonski.
The bride-to-be is employed at DGS in Canfield. She is attending Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a degree in criminal justice/forensic science and policing.
The prospective groom attended Kent State University and owns and operates a business in the Youngstown area. He has served with the U.S. Army since 1993 and holds the rank of sergeant first class.
Invitations will be extended for the 4:45 p.m. Sept. 28 wedding planned by the couple. The ceremony will be held at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown, and their invitation-only reception will take place at the Davis Center in the park.
