OTTAWA -- Dany Heatley got his 47th goal and Mike Fisher scored twice as Ottawa reached 100 points. Fisher, Jason Spezza and Mike Comrie scored in the first period for the Senators. Fisher added his second of the game in the third before Heatley scored into an empty net.
Sabres 6, Islanders 4
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Chris Drury scored twice, sparking Buffalo's five-goal first period as the Sabres inched within a victory of clinching the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Thomas Vanek and Drew Stafford had a goal and assist each for Buffalo in a game the Islanders made close by scoring three times in the final period.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Mike Rupp and Travis Zajac scored late in the second period for New Jersey. Jay Pandolfo added an empty-net goal with 15.6 seconds remaining, and Martin Brodeur made 14 saves to earn his 45th win. Martin Brodeur tied Vancouver's Roberto Luongo for the NHL lead with 45 wins.

DETROIT -- Sergei Zubov scored the only goal of the shootout to Dallas to a comeback victory over Detroit. Dallas, which improved its points streak to six straight games, scored three goals in 6:17 to tie the game at 3, in the third period and send it into overtime. Brenden Morrow, Mike Ribeiro, and Philippe Boucher scored for Dallas in regulation. Mike Smith stopped 31 shots. Kris Draper had a goal and an assist for Detroit, Todd Bertuzzi got his first goal as a member of the Red Wings, and Kirk Maltby also scored. Dominik Hasek made 21 saves.
Lightning 4, Hurricanes 2
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Vincent Lecavalier scored his NHL-leading 50th goal and added two assists to lead Tampa Bay. Martin St. Louis netted his 42nd, Vaclav Prospal had a goal and assist, and Filip Kuba broke a third-period tie for the Lightning. Erik Cole and Mike Commodore scored for Carolina.
Panthers 3, Capitals 2, OT
SUNRISE, Fla. -- Martin Gelinas scored two goals, including the winner in overtime, for Florida. Gregory Campbell also scored and Ed Belfour made 30 saves for the Panthers, Jakub Klepis and Chris Clark scored goals for the Capitals. five. Brent Johnson stopped 32 shots.
