CLUBS
Friends of Boardman Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. April 9 for a social followed at 10 by a program on "Louis XIV: The Sun King," by Dr. Ann York of the history department at Youngstown State University. Hostesses will be Angie Guerrieri, Barb Huberty, Christine Rohde and Amy Sposato. Guests welcome, no reservations needed. Books and tapes will be collected from 10 a.m. to noon April 14 and 21.
Park Vista Breakfast Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. April 12 in the gathering room. Speaker will be Matthew Good, registered dietitian. Members will also tour Hospice of the Valley in-patient facility on Sharrott Road, and are asked to take a small travel-size toiletry to be given to the home. Lori Brennan, Marian Baker, Mary Lou Beck, Peg Bertin, Dottie Cerimele and Peg Cerimele are in charge of the event.
Youngstown Women's Connection will host a "This Spa's For You" luncheon at noon April 10 at the Italian American Banquet Center, 115 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Featured will be Michele White of My Mobile Spa, music by Jim and April Anell, and a talk on "Running to Win" by Jennifer Ebaugh. The cost is 7. Youngstown Council of Catholic Nurses will meet at 12:30 p.m. April 11 at St. Matthias Parish Hall. A representative of the Ohio Department of Transportation will speak on "Tips on Senior Driving." Checks for 6.50 are to be sent to Virginia Criscione-Janacone by Wednesday.
