YOUNGSTOWN -- In conjunction with the Minority Health Commission, the Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a "Be Good to Your Heart" program to be held from 9 a.m. to noon April 10.
The program is free and open to the public, and will include cholesterol screenings, a speaker from the American Heart Association, and a hands-on nutritious lunch.

Easter breakfast
EAST PALESTINE -- The youth of First United Presbyterian Church, 109 W. Rebecca St., will serve a breakfast from 8:45 to 10 a.m. April 8.
The public is invited to the free Easter breakfast of pancakes, sausage, muffins, fruit and beverage.
Lenten haluski sale
CAMPBELL -- St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., will sell homemade haluski for Lent. The cost is 4 a quart.
Orders will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at (330) 755-0036 or (330) 755-4141. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the church hall.
