Strickland: Company may invest in Ohio

DAYTON (AP) -- A major pharmaceutical company may soon announce a 400 million investment in a location between Dayton and Cincinnati, Gov. Ted Strickland said Tuesday.
Strickland made the remarks to reporters during a stop at Sinclair Community College, according to the Dayton Daily News.
Keith Dailey, Strickland's press secretary, declined to comment on the newspaper's report.
Strickland would not identify the company or say how many new jobs the investment might entail. But he said the company's chief financial officer recently visited his residence to say that another state, Arizona, was no longer competing with Ohio for the project.
