Meetings set to explain Springfield Twp. renewal levy

NEW SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Township Fire Department has set four informational public meetings about Springfield Township’s five-year, 2-mill renewal levy for fire and emergency medical services which will be on the May 8 primary election ballot.

All meetings are from 7 to 9 p.m. Locations and dates are: Monday at Fire Station 22, 13885 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg; April 9 at New Springfield Fire Station 23, 13775 Woodworth Road; April 30 at the EMS and fire chief’s offices in the township building at 3475 E. South Range Road; and May 7 at Station 21, 10720 Struthers Road, New Middletown.
