Installation information
Bishop George V. Murry will be installed today at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown, as the fifth bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown.
THE DETAILS
A procession into the church begins at 1:10 p.m. with the ceremony starting at 1:30 p.m.
HOW TO WATCH
The installation liturgy and reception is by invitation and ticket only but will be broadcast live on the Ecumenical Channel by Catholic Television Network; MyYTV, the sister station of WYTV-33; and Time Warner Cable Channel 23 beginning at 12:30 p.m. MyYTV will continue its broadcast until 5 p.m.
The liturgy also will be taped and re-broadcast on ETC at 8 p.m. today and April 10, at noon Friday and April 25, and 1 p.m. Saturday and April 21.
The public is invited to prayer with the bishop at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Columba Cathedral where he will greet guests. A reception will follow in St. Columba Hall.
