End in sight for 'Punk'd'
LOS ANGELES -- Ashton Kutcher's popular prank show, "Punk'd," is coming to an end after eight seasons on MTV.
"Punk'd" is a version of the old "Candid Camera" show that preys on young celebrities.
Among those who have fallen victim to a practical joke: Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, and Frankie Muniz.
The final season premieres April 10, but all eight new episodes will air back-to-back during a "sneak peek marathon" April 7, Viacom Inc.'s MTV announced.
Hilary Swank, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Nelly Furtado and Jewel fall victim to Kutcher's capers this time around.
Kutcher, 29, will host a special "Punk'd Awards" on June 5.
Actor crashes Ferrari
IRWINDALE, Calif. -- Eddie Griffin crashed a rare Ferrari Enzo worth 1.5 million into a concrete barrier while practicing at a racetrack, destroying the car but escaping uninjured.
The 38-year-old actor-comedian was practicing Monday for a charity race to promote his upcoming film, "Redline," when he drove too fast around a curve at the Irwindale Speedway.
Video footage shows the red sports car screeching before it ricocheted off the barrier with heavy damage to its front.
"Undercover Brother's good at karate and all the rest of that, but the Brother can't drive," said Griffin, referring to his 2002 movie, after the accident.
The film's publicist, Wendy Zocks, said Griffin was "doing OK."
"He walked away completely unscratched, but probably a little shaken," Zocks said.
The Enzo is owned by "Redline" executive producer Daniel Sadek, whose exotic car collection is featured in the movie.
Sadek said the Enzo was damaged beyond repair.
"I'm glad Eddie came out of the crash OK, but my dream car got destroyed," Sadek said. "I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought,'There's people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world."'
Only 400 Ferrari Enzos were produced, all between 2002 and 2004.
Griffin's film credits also include "Norbit," "Undercover Brother," "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" and its sequel, and "Date Movie."
Snoop denied visa
LONDON -- Snoop Dogg and Sean "Diddy" Combs were forced to scrap a tour of Britain after authorities denied Dogg a visa, according to a statement Tuesday.
The duo, currently on a European tour, had been expected to play five dates in Britain.
"With late notice of Snoop being denied a visa, time has ran out and it is too late reconfigure the show," the statement said.
Tour organizers had said the concerts, starting with one at London's Wembley Arena on Wednesday, would go ahead without Dogg.
British Home Office rules state that foreign citizens can be barred from entering the country if there were concerns about their presence.
In April 2006, Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, and five other men were arrested on charges of violent disorder and starting a brawl, and spent the night in jail after trouble flared when some in the rapper's party were denied entry to British Airways' first-class lounge at Heathrow Airport.
