Miss DeStefano, Mr. Nelson plan to wed in August

NILES -- The engagement of Danielle DeStefano, a daughter of Albert and Donna DeStefano, all of 808 Ellis Ave., Newtown Square, Pa., and Ron Nelson, 313 Arthur Court, Newtown Square, is announced by his parents, Ronald and Judith Nelson, 3829 Smith-Stewart Road.
The bride-elect is a manager with Apad Inc. in Wilmington, Del. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pennsylvania State University in Reading, Pa.
The prospective groom graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. He played baseball with the Texas Rangers Organization and is an eastern regional sales manager with Stryker Endoscopy of Philadelphia.
Invitations will be issued for the couple's 3 p.m. Aug. 25 wedding at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Philadelphia and also for their evening reception at The Ritz Carlton, also in Philadelphia.
