2 Lisbon businessesto move this weekend
LISBON -- Two businesses, Village Greenery and Plain & amp; Simple Primitives, are moving to 120 N. Beaver St. this weekend. The businesses, which are now on North Market Street, will be closed Saturday and Sunday and reopen on April 2.
Kenny and Billie Kren, owners of Village Greenery, have bought the property, which was formerly a bank and the Ohio Department of Motor Vehicles.
Village Greenery also carries Demdaco's Willow Tree Angels, Ganz Webkinz, scented candles, and sympathy throws.
Ron and Penny Coleman, owners of Plain & amp; Simple, will be moving her line of homemade crafts to the new location. The couples have been operating their businesses next to each other the past six months.
Ruby Tuesday closesEastwood restaurant
NILES -- Ruby Tuesday has closed its restaurant in Eastwood Mall.
A spokeswoman for the Tennessee-based company said the lease for the restaurant expired. She said she couldn't comment about restaurant operations but added that the company typically closes about 10 locations a year, while opening about 50 others. It operates about 900 restaurants.
Mall officials couldn't be reached for comment.
Accounting firm acquiresone based in Tampa
CLEVELAND -- Cohen & amp; Co., a Cleveland-based accounting firm with an office in Youngstown, has acquired Lanese & amp; Associates, an accounting firm based in Tampa.
"Many of our clients are actively doing business in Florida, and having local expertise, including current staff who have relocated from Ohio, enhances our service to them," said Randy Myeroff, Cohen & amp; Co.'s president.
Nick Lanese, who founded his firm in 1987, worked at Cohen & amp; Co. before moving to Florida.
