Well-mannered robber hits CVS store

YOUNGSTOWN — A man with apparently good manners took $124 during a robbery at the CVS store on Mahoning Avenue.

A 58-year-old female CVS employee said a man went to the store’s counter about 6:40 p.m. Saturday and handed her a note, according to a police report.

The note read: “Please put all the money in a bag. No one will get hurt. Thank you.” After putting the money in the bag, the clerk told police that the man said, “Thank you,” and left the store.
