A Senior Day program will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Family Life Center, 7 S. Garland Ave., Youngstown. Speaking on the homestead exemption, real estate taxes, delinquent taxes and tax lien sales, will be Michael Sciortino, county auditor, and Lisa Antonini, county treasurer.
Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, income-tax assistance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., follies at 12:30 p.m., bridge at 1 and Spanish lessons from 3 to 4; Tuesday, oil painting and exercises at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 a.m. and noon, chorus at 12:30 p.m. and digital club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, tai chi at noon, and yoga and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., D.J. Stitchers at 10, exercises at noon, square dancing at 1 p.m. and line dancing at 3; and Friday, income-tax assistance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and scheduled fun days and parties. Also scheduled are: Wednesday, Carousel Dinner Theatre outing, and Friday, Youngstown Hearing and Speech Program.
