Carjackings in Warren

WARREN — City police are investigating two carjackings.

A 48-year-old woman told police she was in the 2600 block of Draper Street Southeast shortly before 10:30 p.m. Thursday looking for a friend’s residence when three armed men emerged from a house.

They took her 1995 Chevrolet and drove off toward Ridge Road. In a separate incident, a 19-year-old man told police he was stopped at West Market Street and York Avenue Northwest about 1 a.m. Thursday when a man fired three shots at his vehicle.

The gunman pulled the victim from his 1999 Chevrolet and sped off.
