TRUMBULL COUNTY Checkpoint results

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, and police from Cortland, Niles, Howland and Bazetta, conducted a checkpoint Friday along state Route 46, from the Ashtabula to Mahoning County lines. The results are:
Vehicles stopped: 108.
Speeding citations: 28.
Seat-belt citations: 25.
Failure-to-yield citations: 2.
Lane violations: 7.
Driving under suspension: 4.
Arrest on warrant: 1.
Other violations: 13.
Warnings issued: 31.
On Saturday, St. Patrick's Day, Bazetta and Fowler police, OSHP and Mosquito State Park rangers conducted a checkpoint on state Route 5 in Bazetta. The results are:
Vehicles stopped: 246.
Seat-belt violations: 13.
No operator's license: 3.
Unsafe vehicle: 1.
