Man indicted in 2-year-old's murder


WARREN — A 24-year-old city man is indicted in the beating death of 2-year-old Fred Miller. A Trumbull County grand jury indicted Randall M. Thomas, of 1306 Fifth St., Apt. 5, Thursday on a charge of aggravated murder.

Thomas will be arraigned at 9 a.m. today fridayin in the Trumbull County Common Pleas courtroom of Judge W. Wyatt McKay.

Thomas was staying in the Fifth Street apartment with the boy, his step-brother, Zachery Thomas, and his brother’s girlfriend, Deborah Miller, when the boy was found injured. Fred Miller died the next day, the result of a head injury. He also had bruises over a large portion of his body. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.
