BOARDMAN -- The Butch Barbella and the Bronx Street Band's April 26 show at Mr. Anthony's has been canceled because of an illness in the group. It will be rescheduled at a later date. Play raises 5.5K
WARREN -- The Packard Music Hall Foundation's production of "The Vagina Monologues" raised more than 5,000 for local charities. The performance of Eve Ensler's play Feb. 17 generated more than 5,500 in ticket sales, concessions and donations. Someplace Safe and the Beatitude House will each receive 2,500 and VDAY International will receive 500.
Emerald Ball and camp
GIRARD -- The Youngstown-Warren Chapter 2015 of USA Dance will sponsor its Emerald Ball and Dance Camp on April 28 at Avon Oaks Ballroom, 1401 N. State St. This year's ball will feature DanceSport Champions Bill Graner and Lisa Vegas. The pair are in the fourth year of their competitive partnership and are competing in both American Smooth and International Standard.
The Emerald Ball Dance Camp with be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with group lessons in American Style Tango, International Quickstep and Styling. Limited private coaching is available.

Pupils' art on display
NILES -- On Friday, the Art Outreach Gallery at Eastwood Mall will kick off National Youth Art Month featuring artwork by local pupils. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Fridays; 1-9 p.m. Saturdays; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission to the gallery, across from American Eagle, is free.
Easter Bunny is coming
SALEM -- The Easter Bunny will hop into Vineyard Crafts, 429 E. State St., downtown, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. All participating merchants offer in-store specials Saturday, and Quaker Trolley rides will be given between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Admission and parking is free.
Opening reception
WARREN -- An opening reception for an art exhibit by Trumbull Area Artists (TAA) members Betsy Collins Downs, Judy Griffiths and Jan Milhan will be held in the Nissen Art Gallery from 4-7 p.m. Sunday. The exhibit will run through May 3. The Nissen Art Gallery is on the first floor of the north lobby of Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
