Emerald Ball and camp

GIRARD — The Youngstown-Warren Chapter 2015 of USA Dance will sponsor its Emerald Ball and Dance Camp on April 28 at Avon Oaks Ballroom, 1401 N. State St. This year’s ball will feature DanceSport Champions Bill Graner and Lisa Vegas.

The pair are in the fourth year of their competitive partnership and are competing in both American Smooth and International Standard. They have won the Rising Star Award in both American Smooth and International Standard and have placed in the Final Rounds of both Open American Smooth and Open International Standard at most major events.

The Emerald Ball Dance Camp with be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with group lessons in American Style Tango, International Quickstep and Styling. Limited private coaching is available.

The dinner-dance will be held from 5:30-10:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Tickets and classes are limited. Advance tickets are $35. Dance camp tickets are sold separately. For more information, go to usabda215.tripod.com or e-mail susanaryan2@aol.com.
