WYSU-FM offers trip to France in fund drive

YOUNGSTOWN -- A vacation in southern France tops the list of prizes being offered by Youngstown State University's public radio station as it prepares to launch its annual Spring Fund Drive on Friday.
The weeklong event for WYSU 88.5 FM runs through March 30 and has a goal of 95,000.
Donors who renew their memberships or become new members will be entered in a drawing to win the largest grand prize ever offered by WYSU: A 5,000 Smith & amp; Co. Jewelers gift certificate plus a vacation for two on the French Riviera sponsored by Go Ahead Tours.
The station is already conducting an Early Bird fund-raising effort for one week before the Spring Fund Drive in hopes of reducing the length of the on-air appeal, scheduled to run Friday through March 30. The Early Bird Campaign will end Friday.
Donors who give before the beginning of the Spring Fund Drive will be eligible to win a vacation for two at Hilton Head Island, S.C., and one full year of dry-cleaning courtesy of Yuhanick's Drycleaning Fair.
