Trumbull sewer rates to be studied

WARREN — Customers of the Trumbull County Metropolitan Sewer District, primarily residents in the townships of Liberty, Brookfield, Lordstown, Champion, Newton and parts of Weathersfield, Warren and Vienna are likely to see a rate increase in the next two to three months.

Gary Newbrough, county sanitary engineer, discussed a proposal with county commissioners Tuesday, asking that ms Consultants of Youngstown be paid $3,400 to conduct a sewer rate study for the district.

Commissioners are expected to approve a study Wednesday.
