Funeral set Monday for Valley war victim

WARREN -- The funeral for Army Sgt. Robert Michael Carr, killed March 13 in Baghdad, Iraq, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Believers Christian Fellowship Church, 2577 Schenley Ave. N.E. off Elm Road N.E.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the church.
Carr was killed when a bomb exploded beneath the armored vehicle he was driving.
Burial, with full military honors, will be after the service Monday at Dugan Cemetery, located on Sodom-Hutchings Road between King Graves Road and state Route 305 in Fowler Township.
Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland is handling arrangements.
