CASTLO board re-electsofficers for 1-year term
STRUTHERS -- The board of CASTLO Community Improvement Corp. recently re-elected its officers for another one-year term. Its officers are: William Binning, chairman; Marion Creed, president; Jean McBride, secretary/treasurer; Frank Galletta, vice president of finance; Sarah Lown, vice president of industrial park management; William Livosky, vice president of nominations and personnel; and Randy Partika, vice president of program.
The board also re-elected six at-large trustees for additional three-year terms: Kelly Becker-Rumberg, Carol Hirt, Creed, Galletta, Livosky and Lown.
Free training programon construction hazards
BOARDMAN -- The National Safety Council, Northern Ohio Chapter, will present a free training program at 8 a.m. April 20 at the Home Builders/Remodelers Association of Mahoning Valley, 8526 South Ave. The program is designed for employers and managers in the construction or contracting industry and focuses on the hazards of electrocution, excavation, trenching and struck-by.
The program will help participants identify the impact of the hazards; understand the federal guidelines and requirements; conduct a baseline evaluation of their organization; select controls for their organization; and identify things they can do to prevent accidents.
