OSBA to honor Trumbull Co. educator

WARREN -- Ron Knight of Howland, president of the Trumbull County Educational Services Center's governing board, will receive an award from the Ohio School Board Association on Wednesday.
Knight, who was a teacher and administrator at the Bloomfield Mesopotamia Local School District, was elected to his first four-year term in 2003.
Knight is scheduled to receive the Master Board Member Award at the board association's Northeast Regional Spring Conference in Wadsworth.
The Master Board Member Award is given only once in a lifetime to school board members who dedicate themselves to increasing their skills and knowledge.
All award recipients must first earn the board association's Award of Achievement, which recognizes commitment to training leadership activities and board association events.
Knight earned the Award of Achievement in 2005.
