Santucci 65th anniversary is celebrated

XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Carl Santucci of Boardman celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary during a family dinner held Jan. 20 at the home of their niece, Carol Ann Craven.
The former Anna Rossi and Mr. Santucci were united in marriage on Jan. 24, 1942, at All Saints Catholic Church in Detroit. The couple are members of St. Luke Church.
Mr. Santucci, an automobile mechanic, owned and operated Santucci Southway Service with his family for more than 30 years. After selling the business, he worked for WKBN Broadcasting Co., where he serviced news vehicles until retiring in 1990. Since then, he has worked part time for Southern Park Limo Service. He served 39 months with the military during World War II, and served with General Patton's Third Army in Europe for 21 months.
Mrs. Santucci, a homemaker, is a member of the Ladies Bagnolese Club, and her husband is a member of the Men's Bagnolese Club.
