Library schedules Harry Potter bashes

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County is hosting two Harry Potter events before the seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series is released in just over three weeks July 21.

“On the Trail of ... Harry Potter Family Scavenger Hunt” will be at 6:30 p.m. July 18 at the Austintown library branch, 600 S. Raccoon Road, and is open to children of all ages.

The Pre-Potter Party for children 11 to 18 will be at 5:30 p.m. July 19 at the Poland library branch, 311 S. Main St.

Registration is required for both events, but party registration must be submitted by July 5 in person at the Poland branch or by calling (330) 757-1852. The Austintown branch can be reached at (330) 792-6982.
