Two Trumbull County men sentenced in Mercer


MERCER, Pa. — Judge John Reed of Mercer County Common Pleas Court sentenced two Trumbull County men recently.

Darin Holland, 38, of Mahoning Avenue Northwest Warren, was sentenced to one to six months in the Mercer County Jail and ordered to make restitution for conspiracy to commit retail theft, a misdemeanor. Court documents state he conspired with an unidentified person to steal a $1,288 television set from Wal-Mart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage. He was given credit for time served.

Douglas Dahman, 22, of Kinsman, was placed on five years’ probation for corruption of minors, a misdemeanor. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim or any female under 16 without supervision. Court documents state that between July 30 and Sept. 30 2006, he had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl at a Pymatuning Township residence.
