Scrappers win slugfest

Alex Castillo went 4-for-5 with a grand slam and six RBIs, leading the Mahoning Valley Scrappers to a 14-8 victory over the Auburn Doubledays Tuesday night at Eastwood Field.

The victory pushed the Scrappers back into a first-place tie with Williamsport in the Pinckney Division of the New York-Penn League.
