Suspected Warren kidnappers in custody

Two held in kidnapping

WARREN — A man and juvenile are in custody, charged with the kidnapping of a 3-year-old earlier this month.

Marcus Chaney, 19, of North Leavitt Road, was arraigned today before Municipal Judge Thomas Gysegem, who set a preliminary hearing for July 3. Chaney is in Trumbull County Jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond.

A 16-year-old Warren boy also was arrested Friday. He remains in the juvenile justice center. Both are the toddler’s uncles, police said.

David Williamson of Transylvania Avenue Southeast told police that his son, Davyon, was kidnapped by three people June 16. Police stopped the car involved, and two males fled. A woman in the car was not charged because she cooperated with police.
