Senior citizens groups plan trips, meetings
COMMERCIAL INTERTECH
Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark Church on Logan Way with Lou Pizzuto presiding. Plans will be made for a trip to Ashtabula to view the covered bridges. Lunch will be served by Janette Armini and Jean Reid. All retirees are welcome.

ERIE RAILROAD
Erie Mahoning Valley Railroad Association will meet at noon Tuesday at Lucianno’s Restaurant, 1732 Raccoon Road, Austintown. After lunch there will be reports on the health and welfare of railroad retirees. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. All railroad retirees are welcome. Membership is open.
GIRARD
A meeting of the Girard Senior Citizens will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. After the business session, there will be a picnic and bingo will be played.
LOCAL 377
Teamster Retirees, Local 377, will meet at noon Thursday at the union hall with Rich Cunningham presiding. All retirees and spouses and new members are welcome. There will be a speaker and refreshments.
MARTHA LUPSE
Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. A pizza party will be held, and coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. For information, call (330) 757-1980.
STS. PETER AND PAUL
Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center with Ann Smith presiding and Mary Kachmer and Pat Hoffman giving reports. Lunch will be served by Tony Ellashek, Grace Gruber and Irene Kuvakas. The $5 charge for the Aug. 30 picnic will be collected.
