GED practice test to be given at mall


BOARDMAN — Mahoning County Career and Technical Center is offering the official General Equivalency Diploma practice test at no cost and on a walk-in basis at 4:30 p.m. July 5 at the Educational Resource Center in the Southern Park Mall.

Participants must be at least 18, not enrolled in high school and have an Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card.

Passing the test qualifies participants to receive a fee waiver for the official GED test. Participants who do not pass are encouraged to attend the Adult Basic Literacy Program free of charge, a national program for anyone at least 18 to improve basic literacy and math skills that is sponsored by MCCTC.
