Scrappers win!

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers won Friday night's home opener, 8-1, over the Batavia (N.Y.) Muckdogs.

Cardinal Mooney High graduate Jeff Hehr went 2-for-3 and reached base all four times he was up, scoring two runs in his home debut for the Scrappers.
