ASH TREES
ASH TREES
Spotting damage
How to tell if a tree is infested with the emerald ash borer:
Leaves: Leaves stop growing.
Holes: Insects leave tiny D-shaped holes, or ovals with a flat side, as they leave the tree.
Patterns: Larvae burrow in S-shaped patterns under the bark.
Bottom: Branches grow at the bottom of a tree under stress.
