Silver Lining fundraiser to be July 4th event

CANFIELD — The Silver Lining Board of Directors will sell coffee, doughnuts and Gatorade at the corner of Lisbon and Broad streets during the July 4th celebration and Firecracker Run in Canfield.

The items will be available from 8 a.m. until the end of activities at 1 p.m. Tickets will also be sold for a 50-50 raffle.

Proceeds from the event will help the Silver Lining Fund to provide assistance for cancer patients and their families with expenses not covered by insurance, including medications, transportation for treatment and household expenses. Donations will be welcome.
