REUNIONS | Classes, families plan get-togethers

Upcoming reunions are published Tuesday. Please submit information about class and family gatherings to the Society Department before 5 p.m. Friday.

The 21st annual A&P reunion will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at a new location, the Main Street Café, 368 N. Main St., Hubbard, across from St. Patrick Church. The cost is $15 per person. The Carbon family reunion will be held Sunday at Mahoning Township Municipal Park, state Route 224 in Pennsylvania. Descendants of Maria and Giacomo Carbone living in the Youngstown and New Castle area will meet at the park at 10 a.m. for a 50th annual reunion.

Chaney High School Classes of 1976 and 1977 will hold their next reunion meeting at 7 p.m. June 26 at Davidson’s Restaurant in Cornersburg. Everyone is welcome. Anyone with classmate information is asked to contact (330 799-5954.

East High School Classes of 1951 and 1952 will hold a combined reunion Sept. 29 at Tippecanoe Country Club. Classmates who have not received an invitation or who know of anyone from the classes not contacted are asked to call Sally O’Neil Dascenzo, (330) 755-0543.

South High School January and June Classes of 1946 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. June 27 at Denny’s in Boardman.

Struthers High School Classes of 1941, 1942 and 1943 will hold a reunion July 25 beginning at 11 a.m. at The Oak View in Struthers. Pictures will be taken at 11:30. The cost is $15 per person. Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1952 will hold a 55th reunion Aug. 31, Sept. 1 and 2 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. For reservations, contact Paul Begjak at (330) 270-1740 by July 1.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 11:30 .m. June 28 at Johnny’s on Market Street, Boardman. Guests are welcome.
