Girl Scout Camp In to be held at Jacobs Field

CLEVELAND — A limited number of Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in a unique camping event to be held July 28 at Jacobs Field.

Troops have until July 14 to make reservations for the event by purchasing seats in a bleacher package for $42 or an upper reserved package for $38.

The packages include tickets to Saturday’s game, a Tom Hamilton talking bobblehead doll, the Camp In on the field, a movie on the scoreboard, a Sunday morning breakfast and a commemorative 2007 Camp In patch.

The Camp In night will begin with check-in from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on the gateway plaza, where a mock campground will be set up prior to the beginning of the Cleveland Indians baseball game at 7:05. The event will end Sunday with all campers leaving the stadium by 8 a.m.
