Austintown man charged after chase

AUSTINTOWN — Police arrested a man after chasing his motorcycle from Mahoning Avenue to an apartment complex near South Raccoon Road, police reports say.

Dajwan T. Stubbs, 24, of Austintown is charged with failure to comply with the order of a police officer and with traffic violations, reports indicate, after the pursuit Friday at 3 a.m. He is charged with speeding and no motorcycle endorsement on his license.

Stubbs is to appear in Mahoning County Court in Austintown at 6 p.m. Monday for arraignment.

A police report says that after he went into the apartment complex’s private drive, he lost control of the motorcycle, went over a curb and was ejected. He was not injured.
