AUSTINTOWN FITCH HIGH SCHOOL

Class of 2007

Officers: Julia Barham, president; Jimmy Cheff, vice president; Melanie Schneider, secretary; Meredith McHenry, treasurer; and Raelyn Romito, spirit officer.

Class adoptions: color, green; flower, lily; song, “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts.

Motto: “We have to learn our own lessons until we finally understand that knowing is better than wondering, waking is better than sleeping and failure — even the worst — is better than never trying.”

The class had more than $4.5 million in scholarships offered and accepted $2.4 million. It had 78 honors diploma recipients and 103 National Honor Society members. Twelve graduates are pursuing collegiate athletics.
