WARREN — Trumbull County Job and Family Services and One-Stop will consolidate offices July 1 at the Park-Porter Building, 280 N. Park Ave. County commissioners purchased the building for $699,500 in 2006 and remodeled it. JFS is now on South Park Avenue and One-Stop job training facility on West Market Street will be in the new quarters along with Veterans Service Commission.

Smoke-free hospital

FARRELL, Pa. — Both locations of UPMC Horizon will become smoke-free facilities July 1. This is in conjunction with all other UPMC buildings in the region. UPMC Horizon’s smoking policy is consistent and prohibits smoking in any buildings, entranceways, passageways and parking areas owned or leased by the hospital. This will include all hospital owned buildings outside the Shenango Valley and Greenville campuses. Previously designated smoking areas known as “smoking huts” will be removed before July 1. UPMC chose to go smoke-free because the system recognizes smoking is a major public health issue.
