School construction vote expected

YOUNGSTOWN – The Youngstown Board of Education is expected to vote tonight to seek bids for the construction of a new Paul C. Bunn Elementary School.

The building, which will actually be located in Boardman Township, has an estimated construction cost of $9.5 million. The Ohio School Facilities Commission will pick up 80 percent of that expense.

Fall 2008 is the targeted completion date.
