Couple robbed while walking on South Avenue

YOUNGSTOWN — A couple walking home from a bar in the 3100 block of South Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Monday told police they were robbed at gunpoint. The couple, she’s 49, he’s 45, said two young men approached and wanted to sell them drugs. When they refused, one of the suspects pulled a gun and demanded the woman’s purse. She complied and the suspects left on foot.
