Thunder Live/Sluggish start
The Thunder's final game of the 2007 season is off to a very slow start, which isn't totally surprising since Mahoning Valley is playing for pride.
Green Bay (9-6), which has qualified for next week's af2 playoffs, scored first after a seven-play 25-yard drive. Antonio Ficklin bulled his way into the end zone from a yard out to cap the 5:02 drive.
Quarterback Mike Schneider scrambled for a 4-yard touchdown and Derek Schorejs booted the tying point with 2:08 to go in the opening frame.
One possession each in the first 12-plus minutes does not suggest inspired indoor football.
