Child ID'ed in Beaver Township accident

NORTH LIMA — Police have identified the child struck and fatally injured by a vehicle in a driveway on Calla Road in Beaver Township as 13-month-old Kailyn Nicole Orr, daughter of Scott and Trisha Orr of Woodworth Road, also Beaver Township.

The infant was visiting at the home of her grandparents, Kenneth and Deborah Orr of 1168 W. Calla Road, when the accident occurred around 12:20 p.m. Friday. Police said the vehicle was driven by a family member but released no further details today, noting that a full report should be available Monday.

The Mahoning County coroner’s office did an autopsy today but no ruling was issued in the death.
