ATHLETIC GROUPS

McDonald Baseball Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1950 will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Bedford Trails, 713 Bedford Road, Coitsville. Plans will be made for a picnic.

McDonald High School Class of 1956 will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s, U.S. Route 224, Boardman. All classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

Youngstown Women’s Connection will hold a “Positively Crafty” luncheon at noon Aug. 14 at the Italian American Banquet Center, 115 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Featured will be “Make It, Take It” crafts by Pat Catan, special music by Bonnie Baughman and a talk on “Optimism is Alive and Well” by Terri Sevinsky. The cost is $8. Reservations are due Aug. 7. Girard Men’s Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkwood Youth Center.

McDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K. of C. Hall, Illinois Avenue.

St. Rose Quilting Group meets at 10 a.m. every Wednesday at the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N State St.

D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the private dining room at Denny’s Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road. Meetings are free and open to all caregivers, family members and friends of those with memory problems.
