Sebring Library to close for renovations

SEBRING — The Sebring Library, 195 W. Ohio Ave., will be closed Aug. 3 through Aug. 26 as it undergoes interior improvements.

The $70,000 renovation project will provide for new carpeting, floor tile and paint, energy efficient windows and draperies, custom furniture and special areas for teen collections and an early literacy program.

“The purpose of the project is to update the look and feel of the branch and make it more warm and inviting for the Sebring community,” said Assistant Library Director Mary Pullin.

Loan periods will be extended during the closure, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 2 and end at 9 a.m. Aug. 27. The community will be invited to view the improved library at an open house upon its completion.
