Career moves by area residents:

BANKING

Scott D. Free, senior vice president and corporate treasurer of F.N.B. Corp. in Hermitage, Pa., has been named chief financial officer of First National Bank, the corporation’s largest subsidiary. He will continue his duties as the corporation’s treasurer. Free came to F.N.B. in 2005 from FirstMerit Corp. of Akron, where he was senior vice president, portfolio manager. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Robert Morris University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

MEDICINE

Dr. Heather Stawbridge of New Waterford has completed her pediatric residency at Tod Childrens Hospital. She has been granted a fellowship at Pittsburgh Childrens Hospital, where she will be specializing in pediatric pulmonology. Her research will be in cystic fibrosis. She is a graduate of Youngstown State University and the Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine.

SERVICE

Laura Arroyo has been hired as project/construction manager at Details Design and Development of Youngstown. She will provide estimating and implementation services for clients. She has a degree in design and 10 years experience in the commercial construction industry.
