Bobby Mock sentenced to 3 1/2 years

YOUNGSTOWN — The man facing charges after a standoff with police last week at a Liberty motel was sentenced today to a total of 3 1/2 years in prison on two unrelated cases pending from 2006 in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Judge R. Scott Krichbaum sentenced Bobby J. Mock, 38, of Austintown to one year in prison in a receiving stolen property case out of Austintown, one year in a receiving stolen property case out of Boardman and 1 1/2 years in a breaking and entering case out of Boardman, the court said. The sentences are consecutive.

Mock will be given credit for 204 days already spent in jail.

Still to come for Mock are 15 felony charges related to break-ins in Mahoning County. He holed up in the Holiday Inn MetroPlex last week to avoid arrest and came out after roughly nine hours.
