Warren looks at ice rink idea

WARREN — City council is considering an ordinance to advertise for bids to upgrade the electric service in Courthouse Square.

Councilman Bob Holmes, D-4th, introduced the legislation at Tuesday’s finance committee meeting.   The motivation for upgrading the electric in downtown is to bring a portable ice skating rink to Courthouse Square.

“I think it would bring kids and adults to the downtown area,” Holmes said.
