Brothers arrested in June 26 homicide

YOUNGSTOWN — Two men charged with the June 26 homicide of Terrance E. Brown, 27, of South Truesdale Ave. were arraigned today in municipal court.

Brothers Jonathan L. Clay and Jason O. Clay, both 24, of Winona Avenue were arrested Monday afternoon at a house in East Liverpool. Both are charged with murder.

Judge Robert P. Milich set Jason Clay’s bond at $1 million and Jonathon Clay’s bond at $1.5 million. They will be back in court Aug. 1 for a preliminary hearing.

Brown was shot to death outside an apartment in the 1400 block of Woodcrest Avenue on the East Side around 10 p.m. Gunfire came from a white SUV, police said.
